Yaya’s Tips for Success
- Use a food processor or box grater to shred your cabbage for a fine, even texture.
- Add the dressing gradually to avoid over-dressing. You can always add more, but you can’t take it out!
- Let the cole slaw chill for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Yaya’s Customization Ideas
- Add shredded carrots for extra color and a touch of sweetness.
- A handful of raisins or dried cranberries can give a sweet surprise that kids will love.
- Swap out half the mayo for Greek yogurt for a tangy, lighter version.
- Sprinkle in some celery seeds or a splash of apple cider vinegar for a flavor twist.
