1/2cupall-purpose flour
2tablespoonsbutter
1/4cupdark brown sugar
1/4teaspooncinnamon

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°F and place the rack in the center.
Peel, core, and slice the apple.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, and vanilla until smooth.
Melt butter in a 10-inch cast iron or ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Spread apples evenly in the pan and cook for 4 minutes.
Turn apples and continue cooking for 3 minutes more. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, then cook another minute until sugar melts.
Remove from heat, stir apples lightly to coat, and pour the egg mixture over apples.
Place skillet in oven and bake 15 minutes, or until puffed and golden around the edges.
Remove from oven, cut into wedges, sprinkle with lemon juice, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
