Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp seasoning salt
  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 10¾ oz can reduced-fat cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 8 oz package ⅓ less-fat cream cheese
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 0.7 oz envelope Italian dressing mix
  • 1 8 oz package sliced fresh mushrooms

Instructions

  • Sprinkle chicken with seasoning salt and brown lightly in canola oil.
  • Transfer chicken to slow cooker, reserving the pan drippings.
  • In the same pan, add soup, cream cheese, wine, and Italian dressing mix; stir until smooth and heated through.
  • Pour sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Arrange mushrooms on top.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours, until chicken is tender and sauce is creamy.
  • Serve over rice or shred chicken and toss with cooked spaghetti.
