Whisk together all the sauce ingredients until combined. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large deep nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Once hot, add the ground beef and cook, breaking up the beef into small pieces, until no pink remains. Drain off the grease. Transfer meat to a bowl and keep warm.
Add frozen vegetables and diced onion, cooking until tender - about 3-5 minutes, transfer to meat bowl.
